Year 5 Visit to the National Gallery

Year 5 enjoyed an exciting visit to the National Gallery, where they immersed themselves in art. We explored four works by Uccello, Holbein, Turner and Van Gogh, carefully looking at and discussing the details in each one. The trip helped us grow in confidence when talking about art and understand how it can reflect and shape history. Back at school, the children also enjoyed writing detailed reflections about their experience.
