We continue to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, exploring a wide variety of topics in greater depth and ensuring that there are plenty of opportunities for hands on experiences that make lasting memories; whether it is an edible Roman road, a model celtic settlement or a visit to a WWII Anderson shelter, there’s plenty to inspire Year 4 children.
With their growing maturity, our Year 4 pupils are able to reflect on their own learning and what works best for them. Through lessons and our classroom culture, children develop increasing independence and confidence in what they can achieve at school. It is wonderful to see this in action as the children lead our Christmas Carol Service, a real highlight of our school year.
