Y3 British Museum Virtual Visit

It’s been a busy week for Year 3!  On Wednesday they participated in a Myth-busting Ancient Egypt Virtual Visit with the British Museum. Our classroom went back in time as we participated in this interactive session which tackled common misconceptions and brought the fascinating history of ancient Egypt to life.  We were fortunate to be taught remotely by an expert from the British Museum through live activities, interactive quizzes, and thought-provoking questions, helping develop our historical enquiry skills and challenging us to think critically. We explored common misconceptions and learnt the truth about ancient Egyptian culture and daily life.  We investigated key objects to understand their roles and significance in ancient Egyptian society.  Finally, we participated in a quiz that highlighted the diverse aspects of ancient Egyptian life, offering a more accurate view of this ancient civilisation.
