Year 1 Trip to Barnes Common

On Monday 13th May, Year one went to Barnes common for an exploration walk inspired by the book Tidy. They took part in a series of cross-curricular activities including numeracy, literacy, art, and science. The children enjoyed using their five senses to explore all around them. They were all brave trying a new plant. Year 1 had a great time and are looking forward for their next visit in June.
