Art – Studying Still Life

This Autumn term, Year 6 have been exploring still life through the work of the famous artist Paul Cézanne. Using acrylic paint, they experimented with the alla prima technique, carefully blending colours and layering tones and shadows to capture the form of pears. The results were striking, with each artwork showing creativity and individuality.
