Art and DT Update Spring Term

The children have been very busy this term.  They have been designing, making and evaluating many products from windmills in Year 1 and chair structures in Year 2, to making mechanical systems using pneumatics in Year 3 and slingshot cars in Year 4.

Year 5 have been studying Greek vases in their art topic and created drawings of vases using a sgrafitto technique to engrave their patterns and also made Greek inspired clay amphora storage containers.

Year 6 have been sewing fabrics and and applying decorative pieces to create wonderful slippers.
