Swimming Gala

This week our Year 5 and 6 children competed in the Richmond Swimming Gala. The children did a fantastic job and have written a short summary of the event:
We are very proud of our great success at the swimming gala. Although we did not win, we were overjoyed to get to the finals and to come 5th overall out of over fifty schools. Our best swimmer, Matilda Pellegrini, won nearly all her races and was not only impressive but also an incredible sport. The atmosphere was lively as we cheered on our fellow team members. We really enjoyed this opportunity and wish the next swim team the best of luck.
