Stone Age Workshop
On Wednesday, Year 3 went back in time (6000 years) on a trip to Fulham Palace. They looked at how the River Thames was used for transportation and survival during the Stone Age. They then created their own settlements, foraged for food, decorated the camp, and set animal traps just as people from the Mesolithic Stone Age did. This exciting workshop also allowed the children to handle real artefacts found by archaeologists thought to have been used during the Stone Age. What a wonderful way to finish our Stone Age topic!
