Welcome to Year 4.
Year 4 is an extremely exciting year, full of many opportunities and engaging challenges. In Year 4, children become increasingly independent and are expected to take an active role in their learning. They work both individually and in collaborative groups towards clearly indentified learning targets.
The children take part in many exciting topics throughout the year including the study of the Celts and Romans, Children in WWII and Africa. In Art they look at perspectives in drawings and in D.T. they have the chance to make their own pop up books. There are many opportunities for cross curricular learning, allowing the children to use and practice all their skills.
Year 4 is a place where children can reach new goals and are able to flourish academically and become well rounded individuals.
