Stone Age Workshop
On Tuesday, Year 3 went back in time (6000 years) on a trip to Fulham Palace. They looked at how the River Thames was used for transportation and survival during the Stone Age. They then created their own settlements, foraged for food and made traps just as people from the Mesolithic period did. This exciting workshop also allowed the children to handle real artefacts found by archaeologists thought to have been used during the Stone Age. What a wonderful way to finish this term’s history topic! And thank you to Mrs Hopkins and Mrs Claudio and all the parents who helped on the day.
